James is not new to the disability world or the Disability Empowerment Center(DEC). He has been a consumer of DEC’s for several years. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 30 years ago and lives a very empowered, independent life in Lancaster with his wife Shelly, and his dog Krissy. In the past he was a disability advisor for Disability Digest, owned the Callaway Vending company for 10 years, and worked at the Jay group for 10 years. He will be joining the Disability Empowerment Center through the Lancaster County Office of Aging as part of their SCSEP grant program. He will be a peer mentor as well as doing some marketing. We are excited to have him here at the Disability Empowerment Center.
